This FSCNY event was devoted to a General Membership meeting, vendor exhibits, seminars, featured speakers, including Superintendent Diana Taylor, NYS Banking Department, and the presentation of Scholarship awards.  

Other highlights included a Compliance Seminar specifically geared to compliance officers and management.  This seminar addressed the intricacies of complying with the USA PATRIOT ACT.  The New York State Banking Department has been stressing the need for suitable compliance programs and independent examinations.  The seminar included presentations by an IRS representative and FSCNY Counsel.
